Me & Ms Jacobs

ME & MS JACOBS represent an honest, handmade, and politically charged sound, inspired by past decades like the 60s and 70s. The band's sonic aesthetics fuse old rock, pop, and world music elements into a new genre: Eclectic Soul. The live shows of the band are as diverse and colorful as their songs.

The band is led by Ms Lina Jacobs, whose unique smoky-warm timbre runs like a red thread through the sound of the band, and whose biographical lyrics convey the honest message of the band.

The band members are between 21 and 29 years old and have roots all around the world, but have come together in Hannover. They describe their work as a "healthy mix of melancholy and rock 'n' roll." From simple piano or guitar accompaniment to a 5-piece band lineup, and even to a 9-piece band with a brass section, an atmosphere is guaranteed that moves not only the body but also the soul.
