Me & Ms Jacobs

ME & MS JACOBS stand for an honest, handmade and politically charged sound, inspired by past decades such as the 60s and 70s. The band's sound aesthetic fuses old rock, pop and world music elements into a new genre: Eclectic Soul. The band's live shows are as diverse and colorful as their songs.

The band is led by Ms Lina Jacobs, whose unique smoky, warm tone runs like a thread through the band's sound and whose biographical texts convey the band's honest message.

The band members are between 21 and 29 years old and have roots all over the world, but came together in Hanover. They describe their work as a "healthy mix of melancholy and rock 'n' roll". From simple piano or guitar accompaniment to a 5-person band or a 9-person band with brass section, an atmosphere is guaranteed that moves not only the body but also the soul.
